Biersteker is a leader in sustainable construction and renovation. With a passion for making sustainability practical, the company’s own office building was no exception. They asked us to design a sustainable climate control system that incorporated the latest green technologies to create an ideal environment with minimal environmental impact.

Adding smartness.
The office area consists of three floors. To create the perfect climate for every employee, each space needed to be individually heated and/or cooled. To achieve this, we installed a climate ceiling with a 4-pipe distribution system. Additionally, intelligent interior sun shading was implemented, which adjusts according to the position and presence of the sun.

We keep it real.
The system uses very little energy. By using a 4-pipe heat pump, heating can occur in one office while cooling is simultaneously provided in another. The energy flows are exchanged with only a minimal addition of electrical power. As a result, the system’s efficiency is exceptionally high in spring and autumn.n.

Done.
The installation was successfully completed by various parties and subcontractors. As a result, we created the ideal climate for all employees. Energy consumption is minimal, thanks to the use of sustainable and energy-efficient materials and systems.
