Challenge accepted.

Our client asked us to design a climate system for the renovation of his house. It was a major renovation, with only the basement walls remaining intact. The rest of the house was completely rebuilt. Although most of the house was new, the project proved challenging due to the structural issues the house presented.

02

Adding smartness.

Because the ground floor has an open layout with a gabled roof, ensuring proper ventilation was a challenge. To address this, we created an installation wall in the basement. From there, the piping was routed to all corners of the house, ensuring optimal air circulation throughout the spaces.
03

We keep it real.

The house has been equipped with a ground-source heat pump, which enables free cooling through underfloor cooling during the summer. This is particularly useful in the basement, where the bedrooms are located, keeping the spaces cool year-round.
04

Done.

The installation wall posed some challenges, but by carefully measuring it in place and then incorporating it into the drawings, all connections have ended up in the right locations. This was done in collaboration with the structural engineer to ensure the necessary building provisions were in place. The result is that, despite the complex construction, an optimal living climate has been created in the home without any compromises.
