Geoponica.
Challenge accepted.
Geoponica is one of the major players in the Queretaro Agropark. They decided to build a large greenhouse on the last available spot in the Agropark. The warm days, cold nights and elevation above sea level require a custom-made installation that meets the specific needs of our client.
Adding smartness.
During the warm days, there is little to no need for heating inside the greenhouse. However, the crops do require CO2 to enhance their growth, which is produced by gas-fired boilers. The heat generated during the day is stored in a heat storage tank and used at night to heat the greenhouse, eliminating the need to fire up the boilers.
We keep it real.
Together with our turn-key partner Metaliser, we ensured that the installation of the system went smoothly and without any hassle. With a local installation crew, supervision visits from Verkade and numerous video calls, we made sure the system was installed exactly according to our design.
Done.
With the first phase of the project complete, our next challenge is to continue our collaboration. Taking into account Geoponica’s future plans, we made sure the entire boiler room and all transport lines were prepared for future expansions.
